Cancellation Policy

La Gaffe has a free cancellation policy, which is a full two days’ notice prior to arrival date. This only applies to one room bookings. Multiple room bookings and extended stays are liable to a different period of cancellation and clients will be notified of the differing period.

Cancellations received within the cancellation policy but before the arrival date will liable for the first night or 50% of the total stay if longer than one night. Cancellations received on the day of arrival or a non-arrival are subject to the full cost of the booking.

Non-Availability: We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

All cancellations must be confirmed in writing and your booking remains active until you receive confirmation of your cancellation either from us or your booking agent.

What is the difference between the non-refundable rate and standard rate?

With the more expensive standard rate you have the option for free cancellation up to two days before your arrival date. The non-refundable rate is cheaper because it is non–refundable, if cancelled you do not get a refund.

If making an advance booking always better to reserve the standard rate. At short notice, when plans are very unlikely to change, you can take advantage of the non-refundable rate.
