Our site originally dates back to 1734 and was once a shepherd’s cottage.
Today, La Gaffe prides itself as being a warm, welcoming, family-run residential guest accommodation in the heart of Hampstead Village.
In keeping with the terraced cottage style of architecture from the 1850's, our bedrooms are not large. However, we manage to fit in all that one needs whilst ensuring that all rooms are very comfortable. Each room comes with an en-suite bathroom, television, hair dryer, tea and coffee-making facilities and a private telephone. We also provide a free Wifi connection.

Our double rooms vary from room to room, some are fractionally bigger, some have slightly bigger bathrooms.
However, they all have the same facilities and are en-suite, with television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.
The rooms have a standard double bed.

Our family room is still fairly compact, as are all our rooms.
It comprises of a main bedroom with television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer in the room. Adjoining it is the bathroom with a shower, lavatory and sink unit.
Also there is an attached small single room without any facilities.
The room is ideally designed for a couple with one child/adult.
However, we do have a roll away bed under the main four-poster bed to accommodate one other. This does reduce space, but can be pushed back under the main bed during the day.

from the moment i arrived i was made to fewel at home with a warm freindly welcome – my case was taken to my room i was given a free upgrade the room was warm cosy and comfortable and excellant value for money.

The hotel is set a lovely area of London, very near the tube station. The staff are fantastic very helpful and pleasant from the moment you arrive. Room and bed comfortable with nice bathroom. Breakfast good.
Everyone has or should have their favourite Italian restaurant and this is mine. Its a hidden gem in Hampstead for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine.
Over the years I have been coming Lorenzo and the staff have made me feel like part of their family. I highly recommended it.
Seriously……..spent hours researching where to stay for our once in a life time vacation and I kept coming back to the La Gaffe website. It is truly what you see. In a small little village with the best restaurant and hotel atmosphere. Small rooms but the staff, location, food, etc… totally made the vacation. My wife and I became sick on part of the trip but Lorenzo and staff helped us out anyway they could. You will not regret it!!!! Thank you guys!!!!!!
Oh – for the good life! That’s what you receive at LaGaffe’s B & B. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Dinner was the best in all of London! Lorenzo- please come to Fayetteville and serve your Latte every morning to me! Lorenzo and his team are so welcoming and they make you feel a part of the family. LaGaffe is in a lovely area and near a tube stop. I can’t say enough good about LaGaffe and can’t wait to return! Linda
